McCarthy Cars was established in 1973 by Jim McCarthy. To date, the business remains firmly in family hands, and is operated by Jim’s eldest son, James, alongside brothers Jonathan and Robert.

We are a dog-friendly business too, and we are always delighted to say hello to our customers’ four-legged friends. We even rate and review many of the cars that we sell based on their dog-friendliness.

We are an RAC-accredited business. This means that each vehicle in our used car range meets with RAC’s strict 82-point preparation criteria. Every one of our high-quality pre-owned automobiles comes with a minimum three-month RAC warranty and a vehicle history check too.

We feature more than 200 used cars across our two Mitcham Road in Croydon premises, including an array of marques, such as Audi, BMW, Jeep, Land Rover, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo. Each of our vehicles is competitively priced and we also offer a range of flexible finance options to help spread the cost of ownership.

As well as supplying great cars, we maintain them too, from our fully-equipped Service Centre at Silver Wing Industrial Estate. We also provide additional services, such as personalised plate fitting and the installation of in-car entertainment equipment.

However, thousands of people in the UK will spend Christmas homeless – cold, hungry, and lonely.

This Christmas, for every car we sell in the month of December we will donate £25 to Sutton Night Watch, a registered charity (1171903) which was set up to support and raise awareness for the homeless people within the London Borough of Sutton and surrounding areas.
